Satu’li Canteen Begins Testing Reusable Cups and Mugs at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
While Disney’s Animal Kingdom is known for its world-class cuisine, amazing attractions, and unique experiences, at the heart of Walt Disney World’s fourth park is a dedication to conservation.
Since opening on Earth Day in 1998, Animal Kingdom has sought to tell stories through its attractions and experiences, inspiring guests with the beauty of the natural world and educating them on conservation efforts.
Not satisfied with simply educating guests, Disney’s Animal Kingdom also practices what it preaches. From the park’s commitment to the Disney Conservation Fund to its dedicated Animal Care Team, Animal Kingdom does everything it can to promote conservation.

That commitment to the environment can also be seen in more practical ways.
Satu’li Canteen Begins Testing Reusable Cups
With that in mind, I want to turn your attention to Satu’li Canteen in Pandora, where the restaurant is now testing reusable cups and mugs.

If you have ever visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you know that the park (like the rest of Walt Disney World) does its best to minimize its use of plastics and other wasteful materials.
To that end, Satu’li Canteen has long utilized reusable utensils and bowls.

Now, however, the Pandora restaurant is also testing reusable drinkware!

The Restaurant Is the Only One Using the Drinkware
The Cast Member we talked to was unsure how long the test would last, but she did inform us that Satu’li Canteen is the only restaurant currently testing out the reusable vessels.

If everything goes well, however, the cups could expand to other restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World!
