All-Star Sports Resort Scores Big With New Reimagined Merchandise Store!
Heads up! Sport Goofy, the vibrant merchandise store located at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, has just reopened following a huge refurbishment this summer.
It’s definitely hit a “home run” of a reimaging – just keep reading to see the difference in the place!

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
If you’re well tuned-in to the news from Disney’s All-Star Resorts, you may have noticed that Imagineers have really had their heads in the game this year when it comes to keeping up appearances at the Sports wing of the resort.
Not only has Stadium Hall received a triumphant facelift this summer, but there’s a long refurbishment scheduled for the Surfboard Bay pool, too!

However, today we’re here to talk about Sport Goofy, the resort’s one-stop-shop for merchandise, souvenirs, vacation essentials, and hotel snacks.
Any guest who visited All-Star Sports this summer will have noticed this store has been closed, but it’s all been for good reason. Now, the place has reopened it’s gates – and we’re sure sports fans will be delighted to see the changes made!

An All-New Playing Field!
Thanks to David Soliman on LinkedIn, we’ve been able to see these awesome photos of the newly-reimagined Sport Goofy store.
Every corner of the place has been carefully designed as an homage to sporting greatness, and we think they’ve hit it out the park!

As we can see from the photos, the store is open-plan and accessible, with plenty of individual stands for merchandise.
Bright lights shine over metal grates and field lines printed on the floor, making us feel as though we’re in a stadium ready for a match!

So Many Sports
One of the things we love about Disney’s All-Star Sports is how the resort encompasses all kind of sports in its theme. This passion has clearly been reflected here in the newly-imagined Sport Goofy, with so many references to be found all across the shop!

From the basketball court flooring to tables constructed to look like baseball bats, we think fans of all sports will appreciate this new design.
There’s soccer balls and basketballs piled high in mounts, football stitching running across display stands, and even a pair of ice skates propped up in this trophy cabinet!

We love to see Goofy’s own personal collection of trophies and medals on display too – who knew he was such an athlete?
