Five Ways to Get the Most Out of the Disney Skyliner
As crazy as it sounds, the Disney Skyliner celebrated its 5th anniversary last week!
Officially opening on September 29, 2019, the “most magical flight on Earth” connects Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT with Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Needless to say, the breezy trip high above Disney World has quickly become the preferred mode of transportation for millions of guests.

In celebration of the Skyliner’s big anniversary, Disney has released five tips for getting the most out of the transportation system. Let’s take a look at what they had to say!
Tip 1: Explore the Resorts!
One of the best parts of the Disney Skyliner is that formally disparate Disney Resorts are now directly connected.
Via the Skyliner, you can spend the day taking in all the activities, recreation, and fun at Disney’s Riveria Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.

With four hotels to explore, there is a TON to do. The Skyliner, however, makes it a breeze.
Tip 2: Watch the Fireworks From the Sky
One of the most awe-inspiring sights in Walt Disney World is seeing Luminous The Symphony of Us, performed from the sky!

If you time your Skyliner trip correctly, you can watch the EPCOT nighttime spectacular unfold all around you.
Tip 3: Take Photos
As you soar high above Walt Disney World, the Disney Skyliner gives breathtaking views and fantastic photo opportunities.

In addition to in-ride photos, Disney also recommends taking some time at the Skyliner stops to take family photos. Among their suggestions are:
- A photoshoot at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, complete with your favorite Disney characters.
- A spooktacular Halloween photo in front of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- A holiday family photo in front of the elegant backdrop of Cresent Lake.
Tip 4: Don’t Forget the Food
While we have already discussed the recreation and activities that guests can take advantage of at the Skyliner hotels, let’s not forget the food!

Whether you grab a quick bite to eat at the Landscape of Flavors food court, want to dine with Mickey and Friends at Topolino’s Terrace, or have a water-side drink at the Banana Cabana, the Disney Skyliner resorts have a TON to offer.
Tip 5: Talk to a Cast Member
Last but certainly not least, let’s talk about the Disney Skyliner Cast Members.
