Upgraded ‘Cartoons of You!’ Stand Debuts at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort has long been the ultimate destination for artists and cartoon fans alike. A celebration of the colors, creativity, and characters of Disney’s animated films, the resort is a true love letter to the studio’s signature art form.

If you have ever stayed at the Art of Animation, you know that the resort also offers two interactive experiences. The first is a drawing class, where guests are invited to let their creativity shine.

The second is the Cartoons of You! stand.

Cartoons of You! is located in the resort’s lobby, adding to the unique theming of the Art of Animation.

Here, guests can have a caricature made of themselves by a talented artist. It is not only a fun experience but also a great souvenir.

When we visited the Art of Animation today, however, we were surprised to learn that the Cartoons of You! kiosk has been upgraded and gone digital.

The Kiosk Has Gone Digital

Artists still man the stand from 5:00 PM to 10 PM daily. Now, however, the caricatures are made digitally.

Guests can get a digital version of their caricature for $40 and an 8 x 10 print for $10. ou can also get an 8 x 10 frame for $10.

As you can see, in addition to capturing the guests’ likenesses, artists at the Cartoon of You! stand really capture individuals’ personalities.

According to the new sign, animators can even make caricatures based on photographs!

For example, a character of Disney Legend and Lion King animator Mark Henn is prominently featured.
