PHOTOS: New Disney Vacation Club Showcase Opens at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
We have been watching the construction for months now, and finally, we have a gallery and showcase ready to experience.
The New Disney Vacation Club Showcase is now open at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and we stopped by for a closer look.
Located in the main hotel lobby (The Great Ceremonial House), the brand-new island-themed space features magical artwork on display as well as information about DVC properties.
A New Look
The location was previously used as a meeting space and is located near BouTiki as you approach Capt. Cook’s and Trader Sam’s.
Warm, neutral colors and island-inspired details enhance the ambiance!
Beautiful artwork adorns the walls, and the friendly Cast Members help answer questions and provide information about DVC.
Wayfinding Home
Guests will notice this “Wayfinding Home” sign.
Wayfinding Home translates to “the practice of navigating using the stars” and is the inspiration behind the gallery. Guests can browse the beautiful artwork and experience the rich Polynesian tradition.
The Magic Door
The Magic Door is one of the coolest features of the new Disney Vacation Club Showcase.
This “magic door “allows guests to step inside various DVC properties and take a closer look.
It is a fun, immersive, and interactive way to get more information.
Does this seem familiar? It is very similar to the one in Gateway to Discovery at Disney Springs.
