New Little Golden Book Takes Readers on ‘A Batuu Adventure’
Young Star Wars fans will soon be able to explore a galaxy far, far away when A Batuu Adventure! (Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge) hits bookshelves.
The newest release from Little Golden Books takes inspiration from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World, featuring the locations, characters, and creatures that visitors to Batuu have come to love.
“When a young, curious boy and his family stop on Batuu to refuel their ship, he quickly gets swept into a rebel adventure!” the book’s synopsis reads.
Batuu Is a Real Place in the ‘Star Wars Canon’
Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened to guests in 2019, Disney has been adamant that Batuu is a real setting in the Star Wars universe. To that end, the planet has been featured in other Star Wars media, including comic books and novels.
The largest settlement on the planet is the ancient trading post, Black Spire Outpost. Visitors to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can explore the outpost, which has become a smugglers’ haven by the time of the war between the Resistance and the First Order.
Now, the lore surrounding Batuu will be expanded upon again in an exciting (and adorable!) way.
You Can Preorder the Book Today

I, for one, can’t wait!
