Three Model Homes Have Been Unveiled at Cotino, a Storyliving by Disney Community
A new era in Disney history is being written in California’s Coachella Valley, where developers are hard at work on Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community.
For those who haven’t heard, Cotino will be master-planned by Disney, designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, and staffed by Disney Cast Members. Essentially, residents will have the opportunity to live within the Disney magic!
“These master-planned communities are intended to inspire residents to foster new friendships, pursue their interests, and write the next exciting chapter in their lives. All while enjoying the attention to detail, unique amenities, and special touches that are Disney hallmarks,” Disney said when the project was announced.

The last time we checked in on the development of Cotino, Disney had unveiled the Parr House that will be coming to the community. Part of Cotino’s Arisan Club, the Incredibles-inspired facility will house events, gatherings, and celebrations.
With Cotino set to welcome its first residents next year, the Storyliving by Disney community has reached another milestone.
Three Model Homes Open to the Media
According to a new report from Newsweek, three model homes have been unveiled to the media.

The display homes, built by Shea Homes, represent the Oasis, Agrarian, and Aspiron Collection styles. The public will be able to view them in November.
The 2,275-square-foot Oasis home is a single-story structure with two bedrooms. The Agrarian Collection house, meanwhile, is two stories tall and 2,820 square feet. Both homes are located in the Longtable Park area of Cotino, which is being designed for residents aged 55 and older.

Finally, the Aspiron collection home is 2,925 square feet and is a single-structure story.
Demand Is High
When completed, Cotino will include 1,932 planned homes around a 24-acre lagoon. According to Critcher, individuals from around the country have shown interest in the Storyliving by Disney community.
“We’re really thrilled with the interest that we’ve got. We’re kind of moving from pre-sales into sales, so as we start to release more of our model homes, we start to move into active sales,” Storyliving vice president Jay Critcher told the Desert Sun.

“I think that we have a tremendous loyalty within our brand, and people really respect the brand and I think that people are anxious in the Coachella Valley to be part of Disney, and so we’re just riding that wave and enjoying it.”
