ICONIC DISNEY SNACKS: Classic Churros
We’re reviewing iconic Disney snacks–have you been following along?
We’ve already eaten through a ton of the resort’s most iconic snacks, like Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Cheshire Cat Tail from Magic Kingdom, and the Buffalo Chicken Chips from Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But now, we’re reviewing what is arguably the most iconic snack in the resort.
Classic Churro
Is there anything as iconic as the Classic Churro in Disney World? You’d have to search far and wide to find someone unfamiliar with the cinnamon treat that’s captivated parkgoers for decades. And, luckily for you, you won’t have to search as hard to find a churro, as they’re available at various carts and dining locations all around the resort.
You can grab the beloved snack for $7.25 (currently), which we recommend doing in the morning. There’s no better way to start your magical day in the parks…and grabbing it in the morning means it’s (usually) fresh. (They can be a bit stale when they’ve sat for too long–but still, we’ll happily eat it.)
The warm breading is generously coated in cinnamon sugar, hitting your taste buds with the perfect texture and flavor.
If you’re a fan of dipping sauces, we recommend grabbing the chocolate sauce. It isn’t too sweet and tastes like dark chocolate. It moistens up the churro, which only makes it more delicious.
During various seasons and holidays, you can usually find an array of specialty churros around the resort. These can be a hit-or-miss, but the Classic Churro consistently delivers.
Of course, with all that said, we highly recommend grabbing a churro (or two) during your next visit! And we’ll keep reviewing more iconic snacks around the resort, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com.
