WALLS, WALLS, WALLS—Several Refurbishments Are Underway at Disneyland Park
The Disneyland Resort looks…different. (And that’s putting it nicely.)
Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Park have fallen victim to several refurbishments, leaving the parks full of walls, tarps, and scaffolding. And, somehow, even more walls have gone up. Let’s check them out, shall we?
Disneyland Park Refurbishments
Disneyland has an overwhelming amount of refurbishments underway, leaving park classics like the Disneyland Railroad closed….and unsightly.
A little further down Main Street, U.S.A., you’ll get a glimpse of yet another refurbishment taking place at Meet Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow. Until the meet-and-greet location reopens, expect to continue seeing these all-too-familiar walls.
In merrier news, it’s a small world has closed for its holiday makeover! The location is also surrounded by walls…
…but inside, there’s holiday magic brewing! The seasonal overlay adds holiday decor and music to the classic attraction–we recommend giving it a ride when it opens!
Jungle Cruise is also surrounded by–you guessed it–walls.
The attraction’s refurbishments include the restoration of the Tiger Temple scene, which was given a temporary fix when the temple infrastructure started crumbling. The attraction will reopen to guests on October 4th.
And last, but certainly not least, there’s the Haunted Mansion Gift Shop! Construction continues moving forward at this location, with a large portion of the shop’s infrastructure in place. We can’t wait to shop items from regions beyond when this location opens!
So if you’re heading to Disneyland soon, prepare for a lot of walls. And we’ll keep updating you with the latest happening around the resort, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com.
