Multiple Tours and Experiences Have Been Canceled at Disney World as Hurricane Helene Approaches
As Hurricane Helene continues to move toward Florida, Walt Disney World has announced more closures.
Earlier today, we brought you the news that Typhoon Lagoon would remain closed tomorrow in anticipation of the hurricane and that tomorrow night’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party had been canceled.

As the resort continues to brace for impact, Disney has announced that a collection of Animal Kingdom tours and experiences have been canceled for tomorrow.
The Latest From Walt Disney World
According to an update on the Disney World website, the Savor the Savanna, Up Close with Rhinos, and Walking with Giants experiences have been canceled tomorrow, as has the Wild Africa Trek tour.

Earlier this morning, the National Hurricane Center officially upgraded Helene from a tropical storm to a hurricane.
While it does not look like the hurricane will directly hit Central Florida, tropical storm warnings are in effect for Walt Disney World.
Disney Is Continuing to Monitor the Situation
At this time, Walt Disney World says that operations will continue as planned tomorrow.

Hurricane Helene is heading towards Florida.
“Walt Disney World Resort is currently operating under normal conditions. However, some experiences will be cancelled or unavailable on September 26. We are closely monitoring the path of the storm as we continue to prioritize the safety of our Guests and Cast Members,” the resort’s website says.
