The My Disney Experience Payment Systems Are Currently Down
Guests attempting to make purchases, dining reservations, and/or secure their Lightning Lane Passes early this morning were stymied as the My Disney Experience (MDE) payment system has gone down.

As dawn rose over Walt Disney World this morning, guests who logged into MDE were greeted with a notification alerting them that the Disney app was experiencing technical difficulties.
At 7 AM EST, fans began to report issues with the My Disney Experience app, with many noting that payments were not processing. Those who rose early to secure their future plans voiced their frustration on social media.
You know what’s worse than Disney’s new lightning lane system requiring a 4 AM wakeup for PST guests? Disney’s payment system being down during this process.

Disney Says Some Digital Experiences Are “Unavailable”
Eventually, Disney sent a push message on the My Disney Experience app to let users know that they were aware of the issues.
“Pardon the Inconvenience,” the message reads. “Some of our digital experience may be unavailable at this time. We’re actively working to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

With guests currently unable to secure their Lightning Lane Passes, Disney is obviously working diligently to solve the issue.
Check Back For Updates
At this time, it is unclear how long the systems will be unavailable. We will be sure to report back with any updates.
