Inigo the Manatee Has Arrived at The Seas With Nemo & Friends in EPCOT
Earlier this month, we brought you the news that Lou the manatee was leaving EPCOT for a new home at another rehabilitation center.
If you have ever visited The Seas With Nemo & Friends pavilion, you have likely seen Lou and Lil Joe at the manatee observation exhibit in SeaBase. Here, guests can learn more about the endangered species while getting an up-close look at the majestic animals.
With Lou heading to a new location in Florida, Disney announced that a new manatee would be moving into The Seas pavilion to join Lil Joe.
Introducing Inigo
I am happy to report that Lil Joe’s new companion, Inigo, has arrived at EPCOT and can now be seen in The Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion — and he is adorable!
Inigo is a male manatee who is smaller than Lil Joe.
Here is a look at the two manatees together. Both animals can be seen from above at the manatee exhibit.
Here, guests can learn more about the manatees from the pavilion’s marine biologists and even watch the amazing animals eat!
Visit The Seas With Nemo & Friends
The manatees can also be viewed from the first floor of SeaBase through the observation windows.
As you can see, Lil Joe and Inigo are getting along great!
The next time you visit EPCOT, make sure you stop by The Seas With Nemo & Friends and say hello!
