Media Analyst Tim Nollen Believes ESPN’s Flagship App Will Cost Between $25 and $35
While the launch of Venu Sports languishes in litigation, Disney is preparing to change the face of sports streaming with its ESPN Flagship product.
Set to launch next year, the new ESPN app will bring the Worldwide Leader in Sports to streaming like never before. Unlike ESPN+, the new service will feature all of ESPN’s live sporting events, such as Monday Night Football, and include its flagship studio shows, such as First Take and Pardon the Interruption.
Although Disney has been open about what it wants the upcoming ESPN app to be, the price point that it will charge customers has remained under wraps.

A new report from Business Insider, however, may shed some light on the issue.
Tim Nollen Weighs in on ESPN Flagship
In the article, media analyst Tim Nollen discussed the impact that the launch of ESPN Flagship could have on the broader worlds of streaming and linear cable.
For starters, Nollen believes the launch of ESPN will increase cord-cutting.

“We think cord-cutting will accelerate hand-in-hand with the launch of the ESPN direct-to-consumer service in August 2025,” he said.
At What Cost?
Perhaps more interesting, however, is Nollen’s thoughts on the price point for the app.

The analyst believes that ESPN Flaship will cost between $25 and $30 per month and deliver 3 million sign-ups when it launches next fall.
Previous expectations for what a direct-to-consumer ESPN would cost fans have been significantly higher. If Disney can deliver Flagship at that low of a price and make the service profitable, ESPN’s future will look bright.

Hopefully, we get an update from Disney and ESPN soon.
