EPCOT’s Hours Will be Extended When the 2024 Festival of the Holidays Kicks Off This November
Guests visiting Walt Disney World this winter will get the chance to spend some extra time in EPCOT.
Beginning November 29, Walt Disney World’s second park will be open until 9:30 PM, a half hour later than usual.
November 29th also happens to be the day the 2024 Festival of the Holidays kicks off at EPCOT, bringing with it holiday celebrations from around the world.
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
EPCOT’s winter festival features all kinds of savory treats, Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt, and a Holiday Cookie Stroll. Other returning favorites include the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and the Candlelight Processional.
For fans of Living with the Land, the classic Disney attraction is also set to house Glimmering Greenhouses again this year!
With so much to do at EPCOT and plenty of guests planning on visiting this holiday season, it makes sense that the park’s hours are being extended! It should be noted, however, that EPCOT will continue to open at 9:00 AM, so there is no change there.
How Long Will EPCOT Stay Open Late?
It is unclear how long the extended hours will last. Currently, the My Disney Experience app only shows park hours through November 29. That said, we should learn more soon.

EPCOT will stay open a half-hour later beginning on November 29.
