NEW Menu Items Are Coming to EPCOT’s Space 220 This October

An amazing vibe, delicious eats, and a one-of-a-kind experience. Space 220 in EPCOT is a must-do experience when visiting Walt Disney World.

Located in World Discovery, this restaurant offers an out-of-this-world experience, featuring a celestial space station backdrop and the perfect setting for a delicious meal.

Even more exciting? MickeyBlog just attended a sneak preview of new menu items coming this October, and they are pretty amazing! Let’s indulge!

New Eats

Space 220 is debuting a stellar selection of mouthwatering appetizers, entrees, and desserts!

These new offerings will be available for lunch and dinner starting October 14th, with the exception of the new fish entree, which is available for dinner only.

Disney’s Culinary Team shared the new offerings, and we got a first look at how each new offering will be plated — and yes, they look and taste amazing.

The new menu includes appetizers such as the Grow Zone Sprouts Salad, which is made of roasted vegetables, frisee, whipped ricotta, pickled onion, orange, pumpkin seed, maple dijon vinaigrette. It’s also vegan and gluten free!

The other new appetizer is the dairy-free Neptuna Tartare, made with bluefin tuna, wasabi-avocado, pineapple, and mango panipuri. 

New entree options include the Nebula Grouper, which comes with a pan-seared and spiced grouper, roasted parsnip puree, swiss chard, and walnut butter…

…and the Mangala Roasted Chicken, an Indian-inspired spiced and marinated chicken that comes with red pepper, carrot, and tomato with coconut rice. It’s also gluten free.

Note that the entrees were served family-style only for the sake of this preview.

The flavors are warm and earthy — but not too spicy.

In addition to the new entrees, we also got a sneak peek at the unique desserts debuting this October.

How amazing is the sun-themed dessert? This is the Sol, which is made of a chocolate tart, coffee sponge, hazelnut crunch, coffee mousse, and cherry gel.

This dessert is named the Capella and is inspired by the brightest star in the universe.

It’s made with maple mousse, orange curd, cranberry orange blondie, and chai cream.

Craving something delicious and tart? This is Bode’s Swirl, which is made with lemon chiffon, berry compote, and marshmallow meringue.

We love this interactive dessert that features a galaxy-themed chocolate dome that you break open, revealing a creamy cheesecake.

This is the Cosmic Cheesecake, made with chocolate cheesecake, chocolate crumbs, raspberry gel, and a chocolate dome.

And finally, this is the Lunar Carrot Cake, made with carrot cake, cream cheese, and candied pistachios. This dessert is also vegan!

New Drinks and Cocktails

In addition to these new eats, Space 220 is debuting new drinks. 

The first drink featured is an Old Fashioned, which is not new but a favorite, with new details. This classic cocktail features Knob Creek Bourbon, a brown sugar demerara, and whiskey bitters and is served with citrus- smoke.

Another delicious offering is the Space Age Key Lime Mule. This twist on a classic mule has vodka, key lime pie cordial, ginger beer, and lime.

The Illumination is a bright cocktail featuring Bacardi rum, Malibu rum, passionfruit, and lime with passionfruit boba.

Space 220 has also added its spin on the iconic POG juice. It starts with classic pineapple, orange, and guava flavors and is mixed with Jamaican rum. My favorite part is the POG taffy garnish.

New Culinary Cards

We also received brand-new culinary cards handed out by Chef Marc. These are rarely distributed, so we were very excited to get them.

There are four total cards. These highly sought-after cards were released about a year ago and share nutritional and space information on the back.

We are so excited about these new offerings for Space 220! They are expected to debut on October 14, 2024.
