LIVE VIDEO: Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Treasure Leaves Germany
Today is an exciting day for Disney Cruise Line. DCL’s ship, the Disney Treasure, is moving from the Meyer Werft shipyard to Eemshaven, Netherlands, via the Ems River.
The luxury cruiseliner left the massive Meyer Werft shipyard earlier today, where it has been under construction since March 2023.

The latest vessel in Disney Cruise Line’s growing fleet left its shipyard home and is making the slow 20-mile river trip. Once it reaches its destination, the ship will complete mandatory sea trials ahead of its debut from Port Canaveral later this year.
You can watch the video live via the Hamburg Port’s YouTube page.
The Disney Treasure is being transferred through a meticulous and stunning process. The Ems River is dammed, so the ship must be pulled backward with tugboats before slowly navigating through the waters.
The Disney Treasure is expected to reach Eemshaven, Netherlands, tomorrow morning at 08:00 UTC (12:00 PM EDT).
