Mickey & Friends to Become The Fantastic Four in New Comic From Marvel
As part of the Disney100 celebration last year, Marvel Comics released a new variant series of the popular What If…? franchise starring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy.
“The variant program in honor of Disney100 will celebrate Marvel’s past, present, and future through the classic What If lens with a fantastic reimagining of Marvel’s most classic comic book covers,” Marvel Comics said in a release. “These first-of-its-kind art pieces will see Disney’s iconic characters immersed in the magic of Marvel storytelling as they pay homage to legendary moments in the Marvel Comics mythos.”

‘What If…? Mickey & Friends Became the Fantastic Four’
After reimagining Donald Duck as Thor and Wolverine, Minnie as Captain Marvel, and Goofy as the Incredible Hulk, Mickey and the gang are set to join forces in the new Marvel & Disney: What If…? Mickey & Friends became the Fantastic Four #1.

Written by Steve Behling and Riccardo Secchi and by Lorenzo Pastrovicchio, the upcoming comic will turn back the clock to 1961 and draw on Fantastic Four #1. Fans will soon get to re-live the iconic story of how the Fantastic Four got their powers and squared off against Mole Man.
This time around, however, Mickey transforms into Mr. Fantastic, Minnie becomes the Invisible Girl, Goofy plays the Human Torch, and Donald becomes the Thing.

The new spin on the First Family of Marvel will see the Fantastic Four utilize their new powers to stop Mole Pete from destroying Duckburg!
