And today, we’ll try one of those classics–the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart!

While Woody’s Lunch Box frequently has seasonal tarts that are fun to try (like the Pumpkin Lunch Box Tart), we’re here for the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart which is available year-round! The treat is $4.79 and is a pastry stuffed with raspberry marmalade, coated in strawberry fondant and crispy pearls.

The buttery crust pairs well with the icing–which provides a touch of crunch. The white chocolate pearls add additional texture, along with the freeze-dried raspberry pieces sprinkled in!

Once you break this thing open, you’ll find our only critique–the filling. (Or, more appropriately, lack thereof.) We wish there was more inside so the treat would have the perfect balance of crust and filling.
