So Much Construction Is Happening at the Disneyland Resort!
The Disneyland Resort looks…different. And we’re not just talking about the Halloween decorations that have taken over the parks.
There’s so much construction going on around the resort right now–from the ongoing Haunted Mansion expansion to the Disneyland Railroad’s refurbishments. And all these projects have the resort looking…scaffoldy.
Disney California Adventure Construction
Pixar Pier is undergoing a major refurbishment, with construction taking place at both Lamplight Lounge and Knick’s Knacks.
Due to the scaffolding and red and blue tarps covering the exterior of both locations, they are mostly unrecognizable…
…but both locations remain open during these refurbishments.
You’ll just have to venture through the temporary entryways they’ve created.
World of Color is also temporarily unavailable, so all the equipment has been lifted out of the water to be worked on.
Disneyland Construction
Disneyland guests are immediately greeted with more scaffolding and tarps as they enter the park. Both the Stroller and Wheelchair Rental building…
…and the Main Street Train Station are undergoing refurbishments. (The Disneyland Railroad is closed during this time.)
Once you enter Main Street, U.S.A., you’ll see more tarps, scaffolding, and walls on the other side of the train station.
A more exciting update: the structure for the Haunted Mansion gift shop has taken shape!
We’ll keep an eye on all this construction and let you know if anything else pops up! And we’ll keep bringing you the latest in all things Disney, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com.
