Disney World Guests Can Now Track Their Disney Bus in Google Maps?!
Having visited Walt Disney World since I was four years old, I have many fond memories of the Disney buses.
Whether I was sitting with my grandparents in the back row as the bus driver told jokes or brimming with excitement while “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” played as our bus approached Magic Kingdom, I have always enjoyed a Disney bus ride.
In fact, growing up, one of the most exciting parts of any Disney trip was seeing a Disney bus drive by after making the 20-hour trip from Chicago to Orlando.
The Cons of Using the Disneys Buses
That said, I know that sometimes waiting for your Disiney bus can be a frustrating experience. While things improved dramatically when Disney allowed guests to see bus arrival times at both bus stops and in the My Disney Experience app, waiting and wondering where your bus can be challenging.
Well, I am happy to report that waiting for your Disney bus just got a little bit easier.
How To Use Google Maps to Track Your Bus
Did you know that you can track Disney buses on Google Maps?
All you need to do is open your app and enter your current location and destination.
At the bottom of the screen, you can select the bus icon to see the current vehicles heading your way. You can also see more information, including a list of buses scheduled to depart soon and the expected time you are expected to arrive at your destination.
If you are staying at a resort that utilizes the Disney Skyliner, you can also check out the travel time using that mode of transportation.
With Disney transportation now being incorporated into Google Maps, guests staying at Walt Disney World have another tool to plan their day. What a great development!
