Scat Cat’s Club Cafe Is Closing For a Month-Long Refurbishment in Disney World
If you have ever stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter, you have likely dined at Scat Cat’s Club Cafe. Whether you stop by for breakfast or just want a sweet treat, the quick-service dining location is perfect!
Famous for its beignets, Scat Cat’s gives guests a taste of New Orleans in the comfort of Walt Disney World. Between their Baton Rouge Beignets, which can be jazzed up with your choice of Bailey’s, Kahlua, or RumChata, and their MIckey-shaped beignets, the restaurant is one of the most popular sports on the Sassagoula River.
However, if you plan on staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort—French Quarter this fall, be forewarned.
Scat Cat’s Club Cafe Is Closing For Refurbishment
Scat Cat’s Club Cafe will be closed from September 23 through mid-October 2024. An exact reopening date has not yet been announced.
While Disney has not announced the purpose of the refurbishment, the restaurant seems to be the only dining establishment affected.
Where To Get Your Beignets
However, if you need to get your beignet fix, have no fear! During the renovation of Scat Cat’s Club Cafe, beignets will be available at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.
According to Disney, guests can still enjoy their MIckey-shaped beignets, specialty beignets, and specialty coffees.
