NEWS: Baby Tiger Coming Soon to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Animal Kingdom at Disney World is home to some truly remarkable creatures! You can check out animals from all around the world during rides like Kilimanjaro Safaris or on walking trails like Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail.

The park also works hard to help conservation efforts for different species through breeding programs. In the past year, we’ve seen things like a new baby elephant and a new baby Okapi make their debut in Animal Kingdom.

And, we just found out that another baby is coming soon to the park!
Baby Tiger Coming to Disney World!
A baby tiger is coming soon to Disney’s Animal Kingdom — Dr. Mark Penning (Vice President, Disney’s Animals, Science & Environment) shared on Instagram today that Sohni the tiger is pregnant!!

Can you believe it?! Sohni is one of two tigers that you can see over at Maharajah Jungle Trek at Animal Kingdom. The other one is Conrad, who appears to be the father in this situation.
We stopped by Maharajah Jungle Trek today to check on the soon-to-be parents! We weren’t able to spot Conrad, but we did see Sohni snoozing in her habitat.
Tigers only have a gestation period of about three and a half months, so we don’t have to wait too long for this new cub to arrive into the world! Disney hasn’t shared an expected due date yet.
We’re happy to see mama Sohni resting contently as she awaits her new arrival!
I personally cannot WAIT to see an adorable baby tiger cub join its parents at the park!
