‘Encanto’ Cupcake Now in Disney World for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month
From September 15 to October 15, Disneyland and Walt Disney World are celebrating Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month with new offerings and decadent treats.
The culinary teams have been creating delicious dishes and treats inspired by the classic flavors of Hispanic and Latin American cultures.

MickeyBlog is checking out all of the fantastic offerings, and our first tasty bite is this Encanto Cupcake from Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Head to Pizzafari in Disney’s Animal Kingdom for this sweet treat.

The Encanto Cupcake is available from Sept. 13 through Oct. 15 and can be Mobile Ordered.
This celebratory bite is $6.29 and is a guava and dulce de leche cupcake that makes a perfect snack or sweet dessert.

First, how great is the presentation? This is a super pretty cupcake, and we love the decoration.
The decor includes purple flowers and a candy medallion featuring Maribel and friends.

With our initial bite, we noticed that it was very buttercream-heavy, so if you like frosting and have a sweet tooth, there is plenty of it to satisfy your sugar craving.

The icing is also incredibly dyed, and though it is pretty to look at, it easily stains your hands.

Note that the buttercream in the center of the cupcake has a thicker texture and more of a butter consistency.

The cupcake itself is really nice, and we found it very fresh and moist with a light vanilla flavor. The guava inside was also really delicious just slightly sweet. It was so good we wish there was more of it!

While this cupcake is very pretty and takes a nice picture, it doesn’t necessarily stand out as a must-have. It was pretty plain in terms of flavor and, in our opinion, it had way too much icing.
Our recommendation? Check out another one of Animal Kingdom’s really great snacks.
