‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ and ‘Hocus Pocus’ Are Returning to Theaters Just in Time For Halloween
Just in time for Halloween, Disney has announced that Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Chrismas will return to theaters on October 11.
A spooky season tradition for fans across the country, The Nightmare Before Christmas follows the story of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town. After becoming bored of the same old spooky routine, Jack accidentally finds himself in Christmas Town.
Becoming enamored with the holiday, Jack puts his own twisted spin on Christmas, and chaos ensues. After almost inadvertently ruining Christmas, Jack must save the day.
Released in 1993, The Nightmare Before Christmas has become the definitive Halloween movie for its devoted legion of fans.
Now, those same fans will have the opportunity to watch the holiday magic unfold on the big screen once again.
‘Hocus Pocus’ Is Coming Back
One week after The Nightmare Before Christmas hits theaters, another Halloween classic is set to fly in. Hocus Pocus will be returning to theaters on October 18.
That’s right! The Sanderson Sisters are also set to return to the big screen, where they will once again cast a spell over audiences.
While Hocus Pocus was not successful during its first theatrical run, it has since become a Halloween staple.
With Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy reprising their roles as the Sanderson Sisters in 2022’s Hocus Pocus 2, the franchise has been introduced to a new generation of fans.
Both Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas will be returning to theaters for one day. So, make sure you don’t miss this opportunity!
