Disney World Is Now Casting For Disney’s Starlight Parade
If you have ever dreamed of being a Disney character performer, now is your chance!
Walt Disney World is holding an open call for Disney character performers, parade performers, and look-alike performers, with their search taking them across the country.

According to a new posting, Disney is seeking character performers to perform throughout Disney World in Character Greetings and Sightings.
What Disney World Is Looking For
According to the listing, these performers will potentially also have the opportunity to participate in various parades and shows, including Disney’s Starlight Parade, which will debut at Magic Kingdom next summer.
According to Disney, “Disney Starlight will continue the nighttime spectacular legacy started by the ‘Main Street Electrical Parade’ using the latest technology to tell new stories about the characters you love. All of this is brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy, in addition to beloved characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios films ‘Peter Pan,’ ‘Encanto,’ ‘Frozen,’ and more.”
The listening is open to male and female performers between the heights of 4’8″ and 6’4″.

“Performers should be willing to demonstrate high energy levels, a full range of motion with their bodies, and basic coordination to music,” the listing says.
“These roles require wearing large body costumes, heads, and feet, and exposure to hot and humid weather. These roles require athletic and cardio endurance, physical storytelling abilities, and strong performance energy.”
According to the postings, Disney World is recruiting in multiple cities, including Atlanta, Austin, and New York City. The roles are also open to “performers of all races and ethnicities.”
