A 4.7-Magnitude Earthquake Hit the Disneyland Resort This Morning
A lot is happening around the Disneyland Resort–and you can now add yet another earthquake to the list.

That’s right, the resort is no stranger to earthquakes. But yet another occurred this morning–here’s what we know.

NBC Los Angeles shared that an earthquake with a 4.7 magnitude hit Malibu at 7:28 this morning (Thursday, September 12th), which was felt in Anaheim. The earthquake follows several others in recent weeks in the Southern California area.

While writing this post, The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Goofy’s Sky School, Silly Symphony Swings, Toy Story Midway Mania!, Haunted Mansion Holiday, and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway were all listed in the Disneyland App as “temporarily closed.” Since the parks opened to guests after the earthquake hit, it’s unclear whether these attractions were affected or simply weren’t ready for the day’s operations yet.
