The ONE Item I’d Get at Every EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Booth
The 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival started last month and there are a lot of fun things to do! You can check out all of the food, entertainment, merchandise, and more.
With so many food options, it can be hard to decide what to get while you’re at the festival! So, I’m here to help. I’m going to break down the one item I’d get at every single booth!
What I’d Get at Every Food & Wine Booth
Now, there are obviously booths that have more than one good thing on the menu, but that’s not what I’m doing here! I’m going to choose only ONE item from each booth that I think rises above the rest — the item I’d be most disappointed if I wasn’t able to get it from the booth. Let’s go!
Macatizers
The one item I’d grab from the new Macatizers booth is the Truffle Macaroni and Cheese for $6.50. This returning dish is just classic great mac ‘n’ cheese but with the addition of truffles to add that perfect umami flavor. It’s also on Emile’s Fromage Montage, so it counts toward your cheese crawl reward!
Festival Favorites
The Kielbasa and Potato Pierogis are my choice from Festival Favorites! These are a returning item from past festivals and come with caramelized onions and sour cream for $6. These are a well-balanced snack that just gives me all the comfort food vibes.
Coastal Eats
Over at Coastal Eats, I’d go for the Boyd & Blair Pomegranate Codder drink for $12. It’s basically vodka with pomegranate, cranberry, and lime and it’s the perfect thing to cool you down on a hot day in EPCOT!
The Fry Basket
My pick at The Fry Basket is the fry flight, which comes with Barbeque Bacon Fries with smoked aïoli, Truffle-Parmesan Fries, and Sweet Potato Casserole Fries with candied pecans, toasted marshmallow cream, and bourbon maple syrup for $8. This is a great deal for $8 and you get to try all different kinds of fries! It’s a great one to share, too.
Flavors from Fire
I know there are some newer items Flavors from Fire, but this is a returning staple that is just too good not to get — the Smoked Corned Beef. This comes with house-made potato chips, cheese curds, pickled onions, and beer-cheese fondue for $6.50. It’s hearty, tangy, cheesy, and just plain delicious!
Brew-Wing Lab
Over at Brew-Wing, I’d go for the Fried Pickle Spears with dill ranch for $5.75. These were at the Fry Basket booth last year and now they’re over here. They’re perfectly crispy and pair great with the dill ranch!
The Noodle Exchange
At The Noodle Exchange, my pick is the returning Ramen with shaved beef, shiitake mushrooms, pickled carrots and daikon radish, shaved spicy peppers, and a soy egg in citrus-sesame broth for $6. It’s a warming dish with a bunch of elements that go really well together and it’s pretty hearty!
Mexico
The Mexico booth is tough because I do love their margaritas, but ultimately I have to go with the new Flauta de Barbacoa. This is fried tortillas filled with barbacoa beef topped with salsa verde, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco for $8. The corn tortilla is fresh, the beef is tender, and the toppings pair well with everything else.
China
At the China booth, my pick is for the new Crispy Duck Bao Bun with hoisin sauce for $8.25. I know the portion size might not be huge for the price, but it is duck, which tends to be more expensive! I think it’s a great little bite to grab while you’re walking around the World Showcase.
India
Getting some smaller snacks around the festival leave room for more filling dishes, like the Chicken Tikka Masala from India! This comes with fennel-spiced yogurt and naan bread for $6.25. This is an excellent value for the portion size and the flavors and delightful!
Refreshment Outpost
Refreshment Outpost adds some food and drink items for each festival, and while their food does look interesting, my pick is the Gulf Stream Brewing Company Cloud 9 Watermelon Hibiscus Lager for $12. This is one of the best beers I’ve ever had, it’s fruity and floral and light and perfect!
The Alps
Time for some dessert! My pick at The Alps booth is the Dark Chocolate Fondue with berries, pound cake, and meringues for $6. A lot of people like the Raclette dishes here, but I honestly haven’t been super impressed by them, so I’d rather get a reliable delicious item like the fondue!
Germany
There is truly only one right answer for the Germany booth — it’s the Schinkennudeln! This is pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese for $5.25. This is like a deliciously creamy mac ‘n’ cheese with ham and onions. It’s super delicious and filling! It’s also on Emile’s Fromage Montage.
Spain
Speaking of Emile’s Fromage Montage, my pick for the Spain booth is also on it! This is the new Spanish Charcuterie that comes with Jamón, Manchego, and pan con tomate for $6.50. It’s a light dish with a great balance of meat, cheese, bread, and those great tomatoes.
Italy
The Italy booth is tough because not much over here is worth your money. I suppose the cheesecake isn’t bad, but I’d still go for the Italian-inspired Blood Orange Margarita with tequila, triple sec, and blood orange liqueur for $12. It’s a safe bet!
Flavors of America
Flavors of America has a bunch of new hot dogs on the menu this year themed to different regional areas of the U.S. It’s a tough one, but my pick is going to have to be the New York-style All Beef Hot Dog with sauerkraut, onion-tomato sauce, and spicy mustard in a brioche bun for $6.75. I just think sauerkraut pairs too well with hot dogs to pass up!
Japan
At the Japan booth, I’d go for the Wagyu Temaki Sushi for $9.50. This is hand-held sushi with sweet and savory American Wagyu beef topped with Takana Japanese pickles and spicy mayo sauce. It’s messy, but it’s a really unique item that you can’t really find anywhere else!
Greece
We’ve got another item on the cheese crawl! At the Greece booth, I’d go for the Griddled Cheese with pistachios and honey. This is a huge fan favorite and it’s basically just cheese slapped on a griddle until it’s caramelized — what could be better?
Tangierine Cafe
The Tangierine Cafe has a lot of good food, but my pick is for the Hard Cider Flight for $10.25. The hard cider flights are always delicious here and this year’s is no different! It comes with the new Keel Farms Blackberry Pear Hard Cider, the new Coppertail Brewing Fallen Fruit Tamarind Mint Hard Cider, and the returning 3 Daughters Brewing Fig Hard Cider.
Belgium
At the Belgium booth, you gotta get a waffle! My choice would be the Belgian Waffle with berry compote and whipped cream for $5.50. It’s the perfect little size and has all the elements that make a great dessert!
Brazil
The Brazil booth is delicious, but the most delicious thing in my opinion is the Pão de Queijo, AKA Brazilian cheese bread (another item on Emile’s Fromage Montage!). It’s fluffy, warm, cheesy bread that just tastes like pure joy. It’s amazing.
France
At the France booth, my pick is the Moelleux aux Oignons Caramélisés et au Fromage de Chèvre, which is egg moelleux, goat cheese, and caramelized onions for $7.95. I’m a huge fan of tangy goat cheese, so this is a win!
Canada
I know everyone loves the cheddar and bacon soup at the Canada booth, but my choice is the Filet Mignon with mushrooms, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs mashed potatoes, and Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs butter for $9.75. The mashed potatoes are fantastic and that soup is just way too thick for me!
Refreshment Port
Refreshment Port is another spot that adds some special items during the festivals. For Food & Wine, I’d grab the Braised Beef Poutine, which is French fries with braised beef, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese sauce, cheese curds, and gherkin relish for $10. Beef, cheese, garlic, fries — what more could you want?!
Australia
At the Australia booth, I’d go for the Roasted Lamb Chop with mint pesto and crushed salt and vinegar potato chips for $8.75. The lamb is cooked well, the sauce pairs great, and the salt and vinegar potato chips just push it over the top!
Swirled Showcase
Swirled Showcase is a great spot for dessert, and for this booth I’d go for the main dessert featured for this festival — the Liquid Nitrogen Frozen Sweet Potato Mousse with candied pecans and maple-caramel sauce for $5.25. This is just fall in a dessert, which I love!
Shimmering Sips
The only food item on the menu at Shimmering Sips is the Guava Cake, which I didn’t really like, so I’d go for the Tropical Mimosa, which is sparkling wine, Minute Maid Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava Juices for $7. This is a POG juice mimosa, which is absolutely phenomenal!
Hawai’i
The Hawai’i booth is a classic, and so is my favorite item there — the Slow-roasted Pork Slider with sweet-and-sour DOLE Pineapple chutney and spicy mayonnaise for $6. The pork is so tender, juicy, and flavorful and the Hawaiian roll just pushes it over the top!
Bramblewood Bites
The new Bramblewood Bites has a lot of fall flavors, but I’d go for the Grilled Bison with butternut squash purée, roasted mushrooms, and huckleberry gastrique for $8.75. The bison is cooked so well and paired with the butternut squash and huckleberries makes it a standout dish!
Milled & Mulled
Another new booth with fall flavors is Milled & Mulled. Here, I’d go for the new Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake with fig jam and pomegranate for $5.25. This is also on Emile’s Fromage Montage and it’s a really unique dessert offering!
Forest & Field
Our last fall-flavored new booth is Forest & Field. Here, you gotta go with the new Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli with sage-brown butter, pecorino cheese, and hazelnut praline (also on the cheese crawl!) for $5.25. If you love pumpkin and pasta, this is the dish for you!
Earth Eats
Earth Eats is our last stop and this was a tough one! The new Lemon Poppy Seed Cake here is delicious, but I’d have to pick the new Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib with goat cheese polenta, puttanesca sauce, shaved pecorino, and petit herbs for $8.50. It’s so hearty and the polenta is super tasty, while the meat just falls apart because it’s so tender.
So, those are my picks for each booth at the 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! Do you agree or disagree with any of my picks? What would you choose instead? Let me know in the comments!
