There are a TON of food options in Disney World! You can get everything from hot dogs to sushi, Indian cuisine to Italian. With so many places to eat, it can be hard to decide where to spend your time, money, and stomach space when you’re in the parks.
That’s why we’re here to help! We review the restaurants in the parks to tell you all about the good, the bad, and the just okay so you can prepare for your next trip. So, let’s head on over to a popular spot in Hollywood Studios!
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Inside the Restaurant
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is a quick-service restaurant located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
It’s themed to be inside a working hangar bay. You can take a look at the menu out front before you go inside!
The restaurant uses ingredients from across the galaxy. Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs actually has a docked food freighter inside with supplies so he can help feed guests!
You can place your order up at the counter.
Seating is available inside the large hangar…
…or you can get a table in the outdoor seating area, which is surrounded by the remnants of the old marketplace.
Inside there is a mishmash of metal tables and chairs…
…along with some round barrels acting as stools.
Check out the half booths that are scattered around.
There’s also a small amount of bar-style seating.
There is certainly a lot of seating in here, so it makes it a great place to sit down and cool off while you eat!
Outside, you’ve got a mixture of wooden booths and tables…
…and this large high-top bar situation. There’s a decent amount of shade, too.
Menu
The menu at Docking Bay 7 is filled with some exciting dishes from a galaxy far, far away!
Here’s a look at part of it inside the restaurant before we break it down.
Entrees include things like Batuuan Beef and Crispy Topato, Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs, and Kashyyyk Beef and Sweet Topato Salad.
The plant-based item on the menu is the Felucian Falafel and Hummus Garden Spread. There are also some sides like a Blueberry-Corn Muffin, White Rice, and Crispy Herbed Yuca.
Also note that after 3PM, once Ronto Roasters next door has closed, you can get a Ronto Wrap here!
Kids can enjoy either the Ithorian Pasta Rings, Takodana Veggie Dippers, or the Fried Chicken Tip Yip Youngling Meal.
There’s one dessert on the menu — the Black Spire Mousse.
Beverages with alcohol include the Takodana Quencher, Surly Sarlacc, and Gold Squadron Lager. There is also the Moof Juice, which is a non-alcoholic specialty beverage.
Other beverages include assorted fountain offerings from Coca-Cola, bottled water, apple juice, and milk.
Food
Now, let’s try some food! We grabbed the Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip, which is crispy chicken served with macaroni and cheese and roasted harvest vegetables for $16.29.
The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside! It was cooked well and very tender.
We also thought the seasoning was great on the chicken — it had a nice amount of salt, with some sprinkled on top.
The macaroni and cheese is super ooey gooey and cheesy, which is exactly what we want from some mac and cheese! The noodles are a great shape for the cheese sauce, too — it gets inside all those nooks and crannies.
The roasted vegetables were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They included cauliflower, carrots, yellow squash, butternut squash, and onions.
Overall, this dish is a filling, well-balanced meal! It’s like an elevated version of fried chicken and mac and cheese.
We also wanted to review the Ronto Wrap since it’s available on the menu here after 3PM. Before 3PM, you can get it over at Ronto Roasters next door.
The Ronto Wrap is roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and tangy slaw wrapped in pita bread and served with a side of chips for $13.99.
There is some nice flavor in the pork sausage and it’s cooked well with a good char on the outside. The pita bread was fresh — super soft and warm!
The slaw and sauce in the wrap add a great amount of moisture to the sausage. The sauce has a good pepper flavor to it and the slaw is tangy.
The Ronto Wrap is a great option if you want a fun meal or snack in Hollywood Studios!
Drinks
For a drink, we got the Moof Juice! This is Simply Fruit Punch, Simply Orange with Pineapple, and chipotle-pineapple for $5.99.
We think this drink is really refreshing! It has some great tropical vibes.
There is a tiny it of spice from the chipotle-pineapple, but it’s nothing overwhelming — it’s pretty mild. The pineapple flavor is strong and definitely the most prominent in the drink.
The Moof Juice isn’t overly sweet and is a great option on a hot day! The only thing we’d change is for this to come in something a little more exciting than a paper cup.
Overall
Overall, Docking Bay 7 is a great place to grab some real, hearty food inside Hollywood Studios! It’s a more exciting option than some burgers and hot dogs.
Our food was all hot and fresh and had some great flavors without being too adventurous for those that like to play it more on the safe side. There’s a little bit of something for everyone!
We recommend Docking Bay 7 as a great place to grab a quick, filling meal while you’re in the park. Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates!
