Mariachi Cobre Is Coming to CommuniCore Plaza For Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month
Walt Disney World is getting ready to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month with Together We Are Magia!
From September 15 through October 15, 2024, the resort will come alive with enchanting entertainment, colorful creations, and delicious dishes inspired by Hispanic and Latin American cultures.
While we have previously brought you a full rundown of everything coming to Walt Disney World as part of the We Are Magia! celebration, I want to turn your attention to something special brewing at EPCOT.
Mariachi Cobre Is Coming to CommuniCore Plaza
As part of Hispanic and American Heritage Month, Mariachi Cobre will perform throughout the day at CommuniCore Plaza.
For those who don’t know, Mariachi Cobre has been playing traditional Mexican folk music at EPCOT since the park opened in 1982.
If you have ever stopped by the Mexico pavilion in the World Showcase, you have likely heard the iconic EPCOT band’s musical stylings and warm melodies.
Soon, however, the band will move from Mexico to CommuniCore Plaza, where they will perform a special show as part of the Together We Are Magia! celebration.
In addition to the familiar mariachi music fans have come to love, Disney is teasing that a “familiar amigo” may stop by to join the band. Perhaps we will see Miguel make an appearance?
