Bruce Springsteen Documentary ‘Road Diary’ Gets Premiere Date on Disney+ and Hulu
Ahead of its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival, Disney has announced that Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will officially premiere on October 25 on Disney+ and Hulu.
Originally announced last May at Disney’s upfront presentation, the upcoming documentary will follow The Boss as he prepares for his 2023-2024 World Tour.
Directed by longtime Springsteen collaborator Thom Zimny, Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band promises the most in-depth look at the rock legend’s creative process. The documentary will feature footage of band rehearsals, backstage moments, and fly-on-the-wall footage.
“These conversations follow Springsteen closely as he develops the story he wants to tell with this tour’s setlist — interspersed with rare archival clips of The E Street Band, underscoring themes of life, loss, mortality, and community,” the documentary’s synopsis reads.
The Documentary Will Debut at the Toronto Film Festival
As previously noted, Road Diary will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, which begins this week.
Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long for the documentary to hit streaming.
