TRON Lightcycle / Run Will Transition to a Traditional Queue This September
A major change is set to come to Magic Kingdom on September 9, as TRON Lightycle / Run will do away with the virtual queue process in favor of a traditional standby line.
As is customary with new Walt Disney World attractions, TRON Lightcycle / Run has utilized a virtual queue since opening on April 4, 2023. To ride the attraction, guests needed to join the virtual queue in the My Disney Experience app and then head over to the attraction when their boarding group was called.

While the virtual queue cuts down on the amount of time that guests have to physically stand in line, it is also necessitated that prospective riders secure their boarding group before they run out for the day.
Guests Can Purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass to Skip the Line
Disney currently opens the TRON Lightcycle/Run virtual queue at 7 AM and 1 PM. Guests who do not secure a boarding group before they run out are unable to ride.

However, that will soon change. Beginning on September 9, guests will be able to head over to Tomorrowland and join a traditional queue. Those hoping to skip the long lines will also have the option of purchasing a Lighting Lane Single Pass for the attraction.
Magic Kingdom Vistors Will Be Able to Ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure AND TRON: Lightcycle / Run
With the change in TRON Lightcycle / Run’s queueing process, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be the only Magic Kingdom attraction utilizing a virtual queue.

As guests could not previously hold virtual queue boarding groups for more than one attraction at a time, they had to choose between the two E-ticket attractions. Now, they can theoretically ride both.
