Rise of the Resistance at a 5-Minute (!) Wait & Other Low Times at Disney World Today
Disney World can be a very busy place! You can end up waiting in line for rides, food, stores, transportation, and even the bathroom.
That’s why it’s awesome to go to Disney World when there are low crowds and you don’t have to wait in a lot of long lines! And, that seems to be the case for right now in the parks.
Low Wait Times in Disney World
Wait times are very low in Disney World right now! Let’s look at what things were like around 2PM today.
In Magic Kingdom, the highest wait time was for Peter Pan’s Flight, which was 50 minutes. This isn’t super short, but this ride usually has a much longer line!
The next highest was for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which was to be expected, but what was unexpected was that the line was only 35 minutes long! That’s almost unheard of in the middle of the afternoon at Magic Kingdom.
Moving on, Pirates of the Caribbean only had a 25-minute wait, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh only had 20-minute waits, and Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin only had 15-minute waits!
Want to know all of the rides with only 5-minute wait times? They are Space Mountain (!), The Barnstormer, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, “it’s a small world,” Mad Tea Party, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid. That’s wild!
Moving over to EPCOT, Frozen Ever After had a 55-minute wait, which isn’t bad for that popular ride. But, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure only had a 40-minute wait!
Living with the Land was at 25 minutes, Soarin’ was at 15 minutes, The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Mission: SPACE were at 10 minutes, and Spaceship Earth and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros were at only 5 minutes.
At Hollywood Studios, wait times were a little bit higher, but still not too bad. Slinky Dog Dash was at 65 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway were at 45 Minutes, Millennium Falcon was at 35 minutes, and Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania! were at 30 minutes.
Alien Swirling Saucers only had a 15-minute wait time, Star Tours had a 5-minute wait time, and, get this — even Rise of the Resistance had a 5-MINUTE WAIT TIME! That’s unheard of.
Finally, in Animal Kingdom, Flight of Passage had a 45-minute wait time and Na’vi River Journey had a 40-minute wait time.
Kali River Rapids was only at a 15-minute wait, Expedition Everest and Dinosaur were at 10-minute wait times, and TriceraTop Spin and Kilimanjaro Safaris only had 5-minute wait times!
Crowd levels are very low in the parks right now, which is to be expected since almost everyone is back in school now, so less people are on vacation. If you’re looking for a slow time to go to the parks, it’s right now!
