‘Only Murders in the Building’ Renewed For Season 5 on Hulu
We’re only two episodes into Season 4, but it’s already official — more Murder is on the way!

The fourth, 10-episode season of Hulu’s hit comedy-mystery series Only Murders in the Building dropped on August 27th and runs through October 29th, 2024.

On the heels of last season’s cliffhanger involving stuntwoman Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), the latest installment follows Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) as they navigate a movie deal — and unsurprisingly, a murder.

This season, the famously star-studded series includes guest appearances by Eva Longoria, Zak Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Molly Shannon, and Kumail Nanjiani. The legendary Meryl Streep also returns as Oliver’s love interest, Loretta.

‘Only Murders’ Renewed for Season 5
Back in 2021, Only Murders in the Building dropped on Hulu to plenty of well-deserved praise. With its unique sense of humor and nail-biting, whodunnit mysteries, it’s no wonder the series has only risen in popularity.

“In this day and age, to have five seasons of anything is extraordinary,” says series co-creator John Hoffman. “I love the challenge of stepping up each season and doing our best to take a podcast pivot into a whole new world. That’s the other thing: we’re all interested in the ways we pivot. Everybody has been of like mind on this one, and it’s a sweet feeling for all of us to have this moment with the show, and know the way that it has landed with the world and that people have embraced it. It’s overwhelming.”

So far, there’s little information on the plotline or cast of Season 5. We can only assume that Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short will return as everyone’s crime-solving trio — but nothing’s guaranteed at The Arconia!
