EPCOT Will Open Late to Facilitate the 2024 Wine & Dine Half Marathon
Runners from across the world will descend on Walt Disney World this fall for the 2024 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.
Taking place from October 31 through November 3, the fan-favorite marathon weekend is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and promising food-centric stories, appearances by Disney characters, and, of course, delightful snacks.

If you are planning to visit Disney World during this year’s Wine & Dine Weekend, I want to turn your attention to the park hours calendar, where Disney has made a slight change.
EPCOT’s Irregular Park Hours
On Sunday, November 3, EPCOT will open an hour later than usual due to the Wine & Dine Half Marathon.

Unlike its traditional 9:00 AM opening, EPCOT will not officially open its gates until 10:00 AM. Disney Resort guests, however, can take advantage of early entry beginning at 9:30 AM.
EPCOT will open an hour later on Sunday, November 3
This will now be the second year in a row that EPCOT opens later on the day of the Wine & Dine Half Marathon, as Disney continues to ensure that both runners and park guests have the best experience possible.
Make Sure You Plan Ahead
While the delayed opening should not drastically impact guests’ vacations, if you plan on rope-dropping EPCOT that day, make sure you plan accordingly!
