Anya Taylor-Joy Wants to Play Elsa in a Live-Action ‘Frozen’
Anya Taylor-Joy may be known for her roles in horror films such as The Witch, Split, and Glass, but if she gets her way, the actress will one day be a Disney princess.
In a recent interview with Vogue Hong Kong, the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star was asked what she wanted to do next.
“I would love to do a musical,” she said before adding that she is “a bit addicted to hard work.”

“The idea of having to be able to sing, dance and act at the same time would just really thrill me,” Taylor-Joy explained.
The Role Taylor-Joy Has Her Eyes On
As it turns out, Taylor-Joy has put some thought into exactly what musical she would like to star in. As a big fan of Disney, the actress admitted that she would love to play Queen Elsa in a live-action version of Frozen.

“I think Frozen would be pretty great,” Taylor-Joy. “It would be very fun to shoot ice out of your hand.”
On a more personal level, playing Elsa would also make Anya a legend to her young nieces.

“Also, you’d just be the favorite at every kid’s birthday party,” she added. “All of my siblings have children now, so I would love for them to be able to say, ‘My auntie is Elsa.’ That would be pretty sick.”
Disney Has Yet to Announce a Live-Action ‘Frozen’
While at this time Disney has yet to make a live-action Frozen, it seems like an inevitability that such a film will eventually come to fruition.

Perhaps, then, Taylor-Joy will get her wish after all.
