The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Comes to Living With the Land
The 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival kicked off yesterday, bringing with it the culinary delights, savory sips, and festive fun that has made the festival so popular over the years.
If you were following along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we traveled around the park, trying all the different foods that Food & Wine has to offer. It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it!
Now, however, I want to turn your attention to Living with the Land, where a new Food & Wine overlay has arrived to celebrate the fall festival!
New Vignettes and Signs Added to Living With the Land
As the world’s biggest Living with the Land fan, I love to see how Disney has incorporated the attraction into EPCOT’s festivals.
When entering the attraction’s greenhouse, guests are greeted with a sign that reads, “Celebrate crops from around the world featured in the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.”
Signs have been added throughout the greenhouse, highlighting the crops from around the world used in the tasty dishes presented at Food & Wine!
The signs even tell you the exact dish they are used in.
Sometimes, these signs are accompanied by little vignettes that better show off the ingredients.
For example, wheat such as this is used at Macatizers for their Truffle Macaroni and Cheese!
Another vignette features a table set with wine, cheese, fruit, and bread used in Canada and France.
As you can see, the celery growing nearby is used in the Canada booth’s Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup!
This mustard is used in the Germany booth‘s Bratwurst!
Can I interest you in some sweet potatoes, like the ones used in a Swirled Showcase treat?
How about chickpeas used at Tangierine Cafe.
Here is another vignette showing off basil used at The Noodle Exchange!
The next vignette is all about Japan.
These scallions, meanwhile, are used in China.
I won’t go through every single plant in the greenhouse, but you get the idea!
The Perfect Pair
Together, Living with the Land and the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival make the perfect pair. If you want to learn more about all the festival ingredients, stop by The Land attraction.
You won’t regret it!
