REVIEW: Hawai’i at the 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival
The 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially begun! This is one of our favorite festivals, and we are bringing you a first look at the merchandise, entertainment, and wide selection of international foods and drinks.
Join us as we continue around World Showcase! Next stop? Let’s check out Hawaii.
Hawai’i
Hawai’i is located near the Port of Entry at the front of World Showcase.
The menu features a mix of returning favorites and new items.
We started off with the new Hawaiian Rice Bowl for $6.25. This bowl features a combo of Spam, eggs, eel sauce, spicy mayonnaise, and furikake.
This was average at best. The rice was good but the eel sauce wasn’t our favorite and the Spam didn’t really have any flavor.
Also available is the returning Slow-roasted Pork Slider with sweet-and-sour DOLE pineapple chutney and spicy mayonnaise for $6.
For dessert, we tried the returning Passion Fruit Cheesecake with toasted macadamia nuts for $5. This is also an item on Emile’s Fromage Montage!
This was also kind of bland and didn’t have much passion fruit flavor.
For drinks, you can get the returning Florida Orange Groves Winery Sparkling Pineapple Wine for $10 or the returning AULANI Sunrise with vodka, DOLE pineapple juice, and grenadine for $14. There’s also the new Maui Brewing Co. Orange Mango Guava Hazy IPA, which is $5.75 for 6 oz. and $9.75 for 12 oz.
