NEW Restaurants & Stores Announced for Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort
A lot is going on at Disneyland Resort right now! We recently saw Halloween decorations go up, Oogie Boogie Bash has begun, and there’s a bunch of new merchandise in stores.
But, there’s also so much on the horizon for Disneyland, like new lands and attractions coming to the parks. The parks aren’t the only places where we’re going to see major changes, though — we just found out about new things coming to Downtown Disney!
New Dining & Shopping at Disneyland
Disneyland has just announced a bunch of new dining and shopping experiences that are coming to their Downtown Disney District! Let’s take a look.
Steakhouse and BBQ Restaurants from Michelin-Starred Chef Joe Isidori
Two new restaurants from Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori are coming to Downtown Disney! First up is a full-service steakhouse.
This steakhouse will have a warm, sophisticated ambiance with a menu that includes prime cuts of beef, chops, fresh seafood, sandwiches, and chopped salads. There will also be some exciting craft cocktails that bourbon fans in particular will want to look out for.

The other new restaurant will be a barbecue spot adjacent to the steakhouse. This will be a quick-service place offering traditional BBQ like pulled pork, brisket, and smoked wings that have unique spices and house-made sauces.
The restaurant will have a large outdoor bar with a big selection of craft beers and moonshine cocktails. These two knew restaurants will be where Tortilla Jo’s used to be located.
The Carnaby Tavern from Earl of Sandwich
An all-new Earl of Sandwich concept is coming to Downtown Disney. The first floor will have a light and airy Earl of Sandwich, but the second level will be home to an all-new table service concept called The Carnaby Tavern.

It’s being designed as an homage to the swinging ‘60s “British Invasion” pop and rock bands from the U.K. There will be a patio with an indoor/outdoor full-service bar!

Also note that the Earl of Sandwich location on the east side of Downtown Disney will close in 2025 so construction can start on Porto’s Bakery. For now, visit Earl of Sandwich and Earl of Sandwich Tavern at the east side location or at the new pop-up location near Star Wars Trading Post on the west end.
Disney Wonderful World of Sweets
Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney will be reimagined and expanded into the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets. This will be a whimsical candy, sweets, and treats shop featuring favorites like churro toffee, caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops, packaged confections, and freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn.

You will be able to watch these sweets being handmade from the exhibition kitchen that is viewable from the promenade. The new spot will open up this winter!
Avengers Reserve
Also coming this winter is Avengers Reserve, an all-new store that celebrates Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and their friends. The store will have collectibles, apparel, accessories, toys, and comics that Marvel fans are sure to love!

D-Lander Shop
Another thing coming this winter is the D-Lander Shop. This will be a quintessentially Southern California boutique with trend-forward fashions for Disneyland fans. You can expect a stylish collection of apparel, accessories, and jewelry.

Kawaii Slime Cart
Finally, Disney shared that the Kawaii Slime cart is coming this fall to Downtown Disney! “Kawaii” means cute in Japanese, so we can look forward to some super cute slimes for sale. This is a mom-owned business that has an imaginative array of slime concoctions and toys in different textures, colors, scents, and glittery mix-ins.
