We’re Trying the NEW Items Over at the Spain Booth for EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival!
We’re at EPCOT for the first day of the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! It’s time to try all of the food, see the entertainment, check out the merch, and more.
Come along with us to check out what’s going on over at the Spain booth!
Spain
The Spain booth Is located between the Germany and Italy pavilions.
It has new food items on the menu this year and some returning drinks.
For food, we tried the new Spanish Charcuterie, which is Jamón, Manchego, and pan con tomate for $6.50 and is also a part of Emile’s Fromage Montage.
This is a nice festival offering to have that should appeal to most people! The ham is similar to prosciutto, but a little bit dryer.
The Manchego cheese is salty in the best way and the bread with the tomatoes was slightly chilled which was refreshing! This is a good light bite to pick up while you’re going around the festival — it won’t weigh you down.
Next, we got the new Paella Negra for $8. This is squid ink rice with shrimp, Bay scallops, and octopus served with garlic aïoli.
The rice here has good flavor but is lacking some moisture. We also thought the scallops were a little dry.
The octopus was an enjoyable texture but slightly fishy. The seasoning could’ve been a bit better here as well — it’s very earthy if you’re into that!
For drinks, you can grab the Red Sangria for $7.50 or the Quinta del ’67 Almansa Garnacha Tintorera for $7.50.
Overall, this is a good spot for a light bite or some earth seafood flavors!
Stay tuned for more from EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival!
