The France Booth is Lacking Flavor at EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival
It’s finally here — the first day of the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! We’re at the park today to try all of the things, including the new food.
Let’s go try some of the new food over at the France booth!
France
The France booth is located in the France Pavilion near the front right.
There are some new and returning items on the menu this year!
First up is the new Moelleux aux Oignons Caramélisés et au Fromage de Chèvre for $7.95. It’s egg moelleux, goat cheese, and caramelized onions.
This didn’t have too much flavor and was kind of mushy. It didn’t have enough texture variation to make it enjoyable.
Another item available here is the new Brioche aux Escargots for $7.95. This is an escargot brioche with garlic and parsley cream.
We also have the returning Boeuf Bourguignon, Pommes de terre roties, which is braised short ribs in cabernet with roasted potatoes for $7.95.
And, we tried the returning Crème Brûlée mangue et passion à la Confiture, which is mango passion crème brûlée with fruit compote for $5.95.
This was a little too runny for us and the flavor wasn’t great. We wanted more from it!
The entire drink menu is new over at the France booth!
We have the new Cocktail au Gin et Aux Fraises, which is Rose d’Argent Strawberry Gin, cranberry juice, and DOLE Pineapple Juice for $13.95.
This didn’t have too strong of an alcohol flavor and was tasty!
There is also the new Frozen French Cosmo, which is vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, Grand Marnier, and cranberry juice for $14.95. For wine, you can get the new Mas La Chevalière, Pinot Noir for $6.95 or the Guillaume Touton, Brut de Pêche Sparkling wine with natural peach for $6.95.
Stay tuned for more from EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival!
