PHOTOS: CommuniCore Hall Reopens as EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival Center
As expected, CommuniCore Hall reopened today as EPCOT kicked off the 2024 International Food & Wine Festival!
Prior to the pavilion’s opening in June, Disney teased that CommuniCore Hall would hold a flex space that would change throughout the year.
The idea was that the World Celebration pavilion would serve as a hub for whatever festival EPCOT was hosting.

With the kickoff of Food & Wine today, we finally got to see how Disney will utilize CommuniCore Hall during festivals. So, let’s head inside, shall we?
A Look Inside CommuniCore Hall
While CommuniCore Hall’s opening today was delayed, the pavilion is expected to open along with the rest of the park going forward.
The left entrance to the pavilion will lead guests to a new shopping area, where they can stock up on festival merchandise.
Guests outside could take a look at this handy chart.
As you can see, CommuniCore Hall has both Food & Wine-branded merchandise and items from the Chef Remy collection.
While there is a ton of awesome merchandise to choose from, the flex space’s theming remains minimalistic.

Introducing Macatizers
The right entrance to CommuniCore Hall brings guests to Macatizers- a mac and cheese-themed Food & Wine Festival booth.
Macatizers is scheduled to open at 11 AM during the International Food & Wine Festival, although it opened a little early today!
As you can see, guests lined up to get their mac and cheese fix! You can read our review of Macatizers here!
According to a Cast Member we talked to, Macatizers can not sell alcohol until after 11 AM.

EPCOT Gets Its Festival Center
Three months after CommuniCore Hall opened, we are finally seeing the realization of Disney’s vision for the pavilion.
Between the shopping opportunities and Macatizers, the pavilion should be a popular stop for guests visiting EPCOT during the International Food & Wine Festival.
