We’re BACK for another year of EPCOT’s iconic Food & Wine Festival! This year, the festival is starting a bit later than usual, but we’re still excited nonetheless!

The Food & Wine Festival offers a wide selection of eats and drinks, live entertainment, activities, and more. We can’t wait to experience it all today!
This post will be updated throughout the day, so make sure you’re following MickeyBlog for all the details. Let’s jump right in!
Festival Dates
In 2024, the Food & Wine Festival lasts from August 28th to November 23rd. This year, there are 30 booths to choose from, including a couple of new booths and lots of new menu items.

EPCOT Hours
On the first day of the festival, EPCOT is open from 9AM to 9PM, with Early Theme Park Entry available for Disney World hotel guests beginning at 8:30AM.

While guests with date-based tickets no longer need to schedule park reservations, everyone else (including Annual Passholders) will need an EPCOT park reservation to enter the park on August 29th. You do not, however, need a special ticket to attend the Food & Wine Festival! Just a regular Disney World ticket will suffice.

Note that the World Showcase and the vast majority of food booths will not open until around 11AM ET.
Festival Passport
One of the most important elements of any EPCOT festival is the Festival Passport, which is a free guide including everything you need to know about the festival.
There’s also a fun booklet for kids this year!

The Festival Passport is located in a variety of locations around EPCOT, including at food booths. Use the Festival Passport to look up booth menus, festival merchandise, entertainment, and even a food scavenger hunt — aka Emile’s Fromage Montage (we’ll get to this soon!).

Merchandise
If you’re hoping to shop for 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival merchandise, you want to head to Creations Shop — although merchandise can be found in other locations around the park as well.

Emile’s Fromage Montage
Emile’s Fromage Montage is a cheese scavenger hunt, so basically miracles do exist. In your Festival Passport, you can find a list of qualifying cheese dishes from various food booths that when purchased will earn you a special prize.

This year, you need to eat five dishes out of a possible 14 qualifying menu items, including both sweet and savory options. Each time you make a purchase, make sure to collect a stamp from the Cast Member at the booth.

When you eat all five dishes, you can visit Shimmering Sips for your free treat. This year, Emile’s Fromage Montage prize is the Blueberry and Vanilla Cheesecake in a stemless wine glass!

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt
Of course, there’s more to do at the festival than eat! Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt is a scavenger hunt you can choose to do entirely on your own — or you can purchase a gameboard and earn a prize.

Head over to Port of Entry, Creations Shop, or World Traveler to pick up a gameboard for $9.99. Your purchase includes a map to complete with stickers, but note that you technically do not need to finish your gameboard to redeem it for your prize.

Eat to the Beat Concert Series
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is live entertainment performed at the America Gardens Theatre nightly at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8PM. On the first day of the festival, the band to catch is The Finesse Party Band!

EPCOT Beacon of Magic
At dusk, Spaceship Earth lights up with a special sequence, especially for the Food & Wine Festival! This year, “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast is returning.
