HOT DOGS! Get Your Hot Dogs at Flavors of America for EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival!
Are you ready for some more food at the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival?! It’s the first day of the festival so we’re here trying out as much as we can.
So, come along with us to a returning booth with an all-new menu!
Flavors of America
This booth is located over in the American Adventure pavilion. You can find it on the right of the pavilion if you’re looking at it from the front!
There is a completely new menu here this year, and it’s all about hot dogs!
We had to try some out, obviously, so we started with the Chicago-style All Beef Hot Dog with tomato, dill pickle, pickled sport pepper, diced onions, yellow mustard, and Chicago green relish in a poppy seed bun for $6.75.
This is a classic Chicago hot dog! It’s got the brightness from the relish, pickle, tomato, onions, and sport pepper.
The proportions might be a little off, but it’s still really good!
Next, we got the Southwest-style All Beef Hot Dog wrapped in bacon with warm pinto beans, tomatoes, jalapeños, avocado crema, and queso fresco in a French roll for $7.25.
We weren’t a big fan of this one! The hot dog itself wrapped in bacon is good, but we weren’t huge fans of the toppings.
It’s got some spice to it and we just enjoyed the refreshing vibes of the Chicago Dog better. The roll on this one was also pretty stale. We’d opt for one of the other dogs over this one!
Also available here is the New York-style All Beef Hot Dog with sauerkraut, onion-tomato sauce, and spicy mustard in a brioche bun for $6.75 and the Carolina-style All Beef Hot Dog with chili, coleslaw, and yellow mustard in a brioche bun for $6.75.
We also got the Freshly-baked Chocolate Pudding Cake with bourbon caramel for $6.75.
This is delicious! The edges are a little crisp and the inside is nice and soft. This is a great dessert to share (or have it all to yourself, we won’t judge!).
It is kind of like a lava cake — it’s very rich and chocolatey. The caramel also has more complexity to it due to the bourbon flavor so it’s not overly sweet.
As for drinks, there are three new beers on tap here, which are $5.75 for 6 oz and $9.75 for 12 oz, or you can get all three in a flight for $10.25. They are the Brewery Ommegang Farm Fresh Ale conditioned on Wildflower Honey, the Goose Island Beer Co. Hazy Beer Hug Hazy IPA, and the Wicked Weed Fest Bier.
Stay tuned for more from EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival!
