Typhoon Lagoon to Close, Blizzard Beach to Open in November at Disney World
Disney World has four awesome theme parks, but they also have attractions that are often overlooked, like their two water parks! Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach both have excellent theming, fun food, and a wide variety of experiences.
However, both water parks have not been open at the same time since before the global pandemic. And now, the parks are once again trading places.
Typhoon Lagoon Swapping with Blizzard Beach
We noticed on the My Disney Experience app that Typhoon Lagoon isn’t showing hours past November 3rd of this year, which usually means it will be closing, while Blizzard Beach is showing hours, indicating an opening.

This seems to be confirmed by Disney’s website, which shows no hours for Typhoon Lagoon on November 4th…

…and it DOES show hours for Blizzard Beach starting November 4th.

The water parks trade places so the closed one can undergo refurbishment. Do note though that the park open during the winter months can close often due to colder temperatures, so make sure you check Disney’s website or the My Disney Experience app ahead of time.
