Jared Leto Takes a Ride on TRON Lightcycle/Run Ahead of His ‘Tron: Ares’ Debut
Jared Leto will officially enter the Grid next year when he stars as the titular hero in Tron: Ares.
The third installment in the Tron franchise is set to hit theaters on October 10, 2025, and will see a Program emerge from the digital world into the physical world for the first time.

“‘Tron: Ares’ follows a highly sophisticated program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings,” the film’s synopsis reads.
Leto Visits Walt Disney Disney World
While fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Leto officially enter the world of Tron, the actor returned to the Grid during his recent visit to Walt Disney World.

While touring Magic Kingdom with his band 30 Seconds to Mars, Leto took a trip on TRON Lightcycle/Run!
Sharing a video of his adventure on Instagram, Leto looked thrilled.
“When in Florida,” he captioned the post. “PS this ride goes pretty hard has anyone tried it?”

In the brief clip, Leto is shown approaching the ride and exclaiming that he feels right at home.
“We gotta do this, man. Holy [smokes], I feel like I’m home! … I gotta be in the front, man.”

For Tron: Ares, Leto will be joined by a star-studded cast that includes Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith-Cameron Monaghan, Greta Lee, Gillian Anderson, and Jeff Bridges reprising his role as Kevin Flynn.
