Originally scheduled to visit Amsterdam, the ship will now bypass the Dutch port due to concerns over possible protests that could impact the guest experience and safety.
Protests and Demonstrations
Disney Cruise Line prioritizes the safety and comfort of its passengers above all else. Because of potential demonstrations planned in Amsterdam, the cruise line has opted to adjust the route to avoid any possible disruptions.

Instead of the planned stop in Amsterdam, the Disney Dream will now spend an extra day in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
Guests onboard the Disney Dream have been informed of the change and offered a revised schedule:
Due to issues outside of our control at the port in Amsterdam, there is a significant possibility that the ship will not be able to dock, resulting in a missed port day. Because of this, we have made the decision to modify your sailing and spend the additional day in Zeebrugge.
A Magical Experience
Disney Cruise Line is committed to ensuring a magical experience for everyone, even when unforeseen circumstances arise.

The 4,000-passenger Disney Dream was scheduled to arrive in Amsterdam on September 6th and Zeebrugge on September 7th. The new itinerary has the ship arriving in Belgium a day early and enjoying two days at the port before returning to the U.K. on September 8.
Disney is offering each stateroom an onboard credit of $250 for shipboard services during the cruise due to the change. DCL continues to monitor the situation.
