Did Disneyland Resort Tip Off Where the New ‘Coco’ Boat Ride Will be Constructed?
In just four days, Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia, a new Coco show celebrating Dia de Los Muertos, will debut at Disney California Adventure as part of Disneyland Resort’s Halloween Time festivities.
Running several times throughout the day, the show will feature all of the guests’ favorite Coco songs, including “Remember Me” and “The World Es Mi Familia,” as well as the classic Mexican folk song “La Llorona.”

“Through song and dance, the traveling troupe of storytellers bring to life the everlasting bonds of family in this new heartwarming celebration,” Disney says of the new show.
A Coco Boat Ride Is Also Coming to Disney California Adventure
While fans are obviously excited for the Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia — Celebrate the Musical World of Coco! to debut, that is not the only Coco attraction that Disney is developing.
At D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, earlier this month, Disney announced that a new Coco boat ride attraction would open at Disney California Adventure.

Drawing on classic Disney attractions, including Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean, the new attraction will feature the characters and music that fans love.
While we know that the upcoming Disney California Adventure will be the first Coco attraction to open in a Disney park, the company has yet to specify where the new ride will be constructed.
Did Disney Tip Their Hand?
A new article in The Orange Country Register, however, posits that the location of Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia could indicate that the Coco boat ride will be built near Paradise Gardens — perhaps even right next door to Pixar Pier.
While Disney has yet to confirm where (or when) construction on the attraction begins, Pixar Pier would obviously make the most sense.
For now, however, we will have to wait and see.
