PHOTOS: Halloween Time Has Arrived at the Disneyland Resort!
Halloween Time has finally hit the Disneyland Resort! (We know it’s only August, but we’ve been celebrating the season for weeks over at Disney World.)
Festive buffets, spooky merchandise, terrifying(ly tasty) treats–we can’t wait to see what the season has in store for us! Oh–and we can’t forget the Oogie Boogie Bash, which kicks off on August 25th in Disney California Adventure! But for now, let’s walk around the resort and check out the Halloween festivities!
Disneyland Park
Halloween is finally here, and nothing screams “Halloween” quite like the classic character jack-o’-lanterns that sit above the park’s turnstiles. There’s Mickey…
…Donald…
…Pluto…
…Goofy…
…and Minnie!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a change of season without a new, festive guidemap! This year’s Halloween map features the Minnie jack-o’-lantern we just spotted above the turnstiles! And did you catch the Halloween Time banner in the background?
Let’s walk down Main Street, U.S.A. which is filled with jack-o’-lanterns…
…including the one, the only–Mickey Pumpkin!
The Halloween decorations down Main Street, U.S.A. always catapult us into the Halloween season!
The corner where characters meet–next to The Mad Hatter–also received a seasonal makeover! The doors that serve as a background for the character encounters received a “Happy Halloween” banner with ghosts and pumpkins.
And look who we found over here…Minnie in her Halloween costume! She always slays the season.
We also got to see Mickey…
…Donald…
…Goofy…
…Chip ‘n’ Dale…
…and Clarabelle in their Halloween outfits! (You can read more about their Halloween costumes by clicking here.)
Disney California Adventure
We already spotted the early arrival of Halloween decorations in Disney California Adventure, but in case you missed it, Oogie Boogie is back above the turnstiles…
…and he brought the (not-so) spooky decorations…
…and bats with him!
Cars Land also transformed for the season, with Haul-O-Ween signs…
…all around the area.
The spooky cones are back…
…as well as fan-favorite decorations…
…that make this area so popular during Halloween Time.
Spooky cars are coming back from the junkyard…
…and Doc’s Ofrenda is up for guests to see.
So head over to the Disneyland Resort to check out the Halloween decorations for yourself! And we’ll keep bringing you the latest in all things Disney–and Halloween Time–so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com.
