NEWS: Terrace Gardens, Moana Splash Pad & Wailulu Bar & Grill Are Coming to Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas
The latest addition to the Disney Vacation Club collection of resorts will debut later this year when Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows opens this December.
The new tower will bring Polynesia’s stories, culture, and adventurous spirit to life in an all-new way and give DVC members another place to stay right in the middle of the magic.
With less than four months to go until the new DVC tower opens, Disney has shared a first look at some of the amenities and dining that guests will soon be able to enjoy. Let’s see what they have cooked up!
Wailulu Bar & Grill
Guests staying at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will soon be able to dine in style at Wailulu Bar & Grill.
Located on the Seven Seas Lagoon, the restaurant will have both indoor and outdoor seating. Additionally, the eatery’s bar will have amazing views of Cinderella Castle!
The poolside bar will also offer an all-day lunch and dinner menu inspired by the flavors of Polynesia. Specialty coffee and pastries will also be available for breakfast.
Wailulu Bar & Grill’s dining room will feature a collection of Polynesian-inspired artwork created exclusively for the restaurant. This will include a floating tropical fish sculpture crafted from recycled materials and fish nets.
The center of the dining room will showcase an abstract Polynesian Stick Chart, which was an ancient navigation tool used to sail the sea!
Finally, keep your eyes out for a painting featuring none other than Moana!
Moana’s Voyage Splash Area and Cove Pool
Speaking of Moana, young guests staying at Island Tower will be able to embrace their inner wayfinder at Moana’s Voyage.
The whimsical splash area will feature life-size sculptures of Moana and her canoe.
For older guests, Cove Pool will offer even more opportunities to relax. The zero-entry pool and the splash area will be open to both DVC members and guests staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Get Away in Tropical Terrace Gardens
Finally, guests staying at Island Tower will be able to enjoy exclusive access to four tropical terrace gardens!
The new gardens will feature amazing artwork, lush foliage, and uniquely themed seating areas.
Offering picturesque views of Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia Golf Courses or the Seven Seas Lagoon, these serene gardens are the perfect place to get away from it all and relax.
