As crazy as it sounds, we are less than five months from next year’s Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!
The fan-favorite event is set to return from January 8 through January 12, 2025, at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Leaning into nostalgia in a way that only Disney can, next year’s Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge!

Today, Disney shared a first look at the vintage-looking medals that runDisney participants will be awarded at the 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.
Pluto Walt Disney World 5K Medal
Runners who finish next year’s Walt Disney World 5K will be rewarded with this adorable Pluto finisher medal.

Chip ‘n Dale Walt Disney World 10K Medal
Participants in the Walt Disney World 10K will have reason to celebrate when they receive this Chip ‘n Dale finisher medal.

Donald and Daisy Walt Disney World Half Marathon Medal
runDisney participants who complete the Walt Disney World Half Marathon will receive this festively fun Donald and Daisy medal.

After navigating the 13.1-mile course, this adorable medal is the perfect reward.
Mickey and Minnie Walt Disney World Marathon Medal
Running through all four Disney Parks, runners who complete the Walt Disney World Marathon will have made it through a magical 26-2 miles.

Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge Medal

Dopey Challenge Medal
Last but certainly not least, runners who make their way through all four races and complete the Dopey Challenge will be awarded an amazing Dopey medal.
